I was playing a game of texas holdem and put someone all in, before he responded to my bed he flipped his cards to see my reaction. I have never seen this before however everyone at the table assured me this was legal and was wondering if anyone knew for sure? Is this legal and just a move no one does because its not common poker etiquette?

I am after some poker chips for the texas holdem application on facebook.
I have tried several sellers so far but it took 12 - 24 hours for delivery.
However being the impatient person I am, I dont like having to wait lol, so was just wondering if any of you guys can recomend a site that has a rapid delivery service of chips and good price.

I play texas holdem on pokerstars but I am looking for any website that would allow us to join a room together and play with each other, does anyone know something that would work for this ?

We play no limit texas holdem as a group of friends a few times a month, about 8-10 around the table normally. Play is pretty lose, but most people seem to know what they are doing. I’m wondering if anybody has a proven system of play that consistent takes the money home? =) We normally play for each a game, then have 1st/2nd/3rd prizes… it is like a "sit n go" type of game, everybody gets 800 worth of chips for the start of each game.

In texas Holdem, the player left of the dealer places the small blind.. then the player to his left places a big blind. then everyone to the left matches the big blind, right??

Does the guy who placed the small blind have to pay up when it gets back around to him, or does he just have to pay the small blind?

Lets say that the small blind is one chip, and big blind is two chips… after everyone puts in their bet, does the guy who is small blind have to put in another chip, or is he good with just the one chip in while everyone else put in two?

I know nothing about good poker or casino pc games. My older brother is really in to Texas holdem in particular and i am trying to find a good pc game that i can get him for his birthday. Possibly something he could play online with ? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have been doing some reading up on them, but all the reviews are fifty fifty… I would prefer a newer game if at all possible!

In Texas holdem, there is a pair of Kings showing and a pair of Queens showing and a four. One person has an Ace and a three, and the other person has a pair of eight. Who wins? Is it the person with two high pair with the Ace kicker or is it the person with a pair of eights in their hands? Thanks for your help.
