please start with basics in simple english

From what I’ve read, there is a program that allow you to see other player’s cards. The poker web sites change their programs on a regular basis, so I was wondering how this could be possible. I’ve been told their are programms out there, but I need more conviencing.

I was playing a game of texas holdem and put someone all in, before he responded to my bed he flipped his cards to see my reaction. I have never seen this before however everyone at the table assured me this was legal and was wondering if anyone knew for sure? Is this legal and just a move no one does because its not common poker etiquette?

I want to invite two guys and three girls over for poker. Two of the girls I’m good friends with, but the third I don’t really know, but I like her. So I was wondering if a guy you hardly know invites you over to play poker would you think anything of it? We’ve hung out before just not in depth. If it helps, I’m seventeen and it’s not real poker. Real chips and cards, but no money or anything, just for fun.

Say I have Ace of spades and Ace of diamonds while my opponent(2 players including me) has King of hearts and King of clubs. How do I calculate the chance of winning if I go all in preflop, before any of the cards show on the board?

I know I can find an odds calculator online, but I want to know how(writing a paper on probability).

I have a group of friends that likes to play poker regularly. Unfortunately, our ‘poker nights’ are rare nowadays because of inconvenience of one of us having to host (we’re teens). It would be nice to get together more often, but I’m pretty sure a lot of public places like McDonald’s wouldn’t just let us sit down and play cards!

i want to get a game or tourney together, and would like each have our own laptops there, and where we can play against each other. i don’t want to use a poker site because we have our own rules. no money will be involved either. it’s just that none of us want to deal or touch real cards, but we all want to talk sh*t between ourselves.

Do extroverts give more away as they play (making it easier for other players to guess the quality of their hand)? Or does their other extrovert behaviour mask their thoughts about their cards?

Introverts might hide a lot of their thoughts and feelings from others but can they hide their reactions to picking up their cards and seeing a great or useless hand better than anyone else?

I have seen other people show their cards when all other players fold while playing Full Tilt Poker online…how do you do that it never gives me the option?

Some friends of mine are thinking of starting a poker night, I was curious on how the rules would be idealy. If there was no dealer, would the shuffle be done by each player once? Would the raising and calling take place before and/or after changing cards? If we were to play with a 100 $ each per night, what would be the best limits to have a good fun game. I need some experieced helps, no answers just for points please.
