Made a deal involving cycling…bad idea…help?
Okay, here’s the deal. I am a cyclist, okay, no, I was a cyclist, not too serious, but i really, really love the sport and I used to do it a lot. On the other hand, I am a student, which means:
Student+workload=no social life (sad, I know)= no cycling
Now I made a deal with my one friend last year already, that at the end of this year we would go on a cycling tour. We have like all these little bets going on inside the deal, and to tell you the truth, I am so dead. I haven’t been cycling a lot at all and now I have to get back into shape before December…
Anyways, can anybody, and I mean anybody, please give me some advice on quick fitness and a good diet to go along… I am not desperate, so I don’t intend on hurting myself, but I would like to give him a run for his money…

Endurance training and just eat healthy no junk food or fast food.
You’ve still got time, all is not lost. The key is putting in miles any way you can. Any time you can substitute cycling as your means of transportation, do it. If you don’t have a trainer, get one. Performance’s cheapest will do just fine (<$100). That takes out the weather excuse. Don’t allow yourself to watch TV or play video games unless you’re in the saddle.
Be creative. It can be done.
