I was playing a game of texas holdem and put someone all in, before he responded to my bed he flipped his cards to see my reaction. I have never seen this before however everyone at the table assured me this was legal and was wondering if anyone knew for sure? Is this legal and just a move no one does because its not common poker etiquette?

On my facebook account i go on texas holdem poker and i have 2Million chips and i got an email saying i can double my chips and so i clicked the link and put in my user name and password and the next day my chips was GONE!!!!!!! so they have scammed me
what do i do to get them back?

Where can I find no limit Holdem lessons and strategies? I want to try this after playing limit for some time. Please give me links (no spamming though) you think would be helpful.

Is it true no limit is more profitable than limit poker? Is it better to play short-handed or full table? I play tight/passive but working on being more aggressive. What advice can you give?

The reason why a check is bad because every hand u beat is going to push anyway and you’re commited, but you’re letting some hands get a free showdown that you beat

Say I have Ace of spades and Ace of diamonds while my opponent(2 players including me) has King of hearts and King of clubs. How do I calculate the chance of winning if I go all in preflop, before any of the cards show on the board?

I know I can find an odds calculator online, but I want to know how(writing a paper on probability).

Is losing their money in the first place what makes these players play so aggresive so they feel they have temporarily more power then myself while at a table? Is this their drug of choice?

In your opinion how can I use this to my advantage.

I understand the concept, what I do not understand is if the players HAVE to put in the big blind. Lets say the guy with the big blind folds, does the next guy have to put it in to continue. What if the guy with the small blind folds (if that’s allowed) does the guy 2nd left of the dealer have to place the big blind still or just the small? Full details on how this works is appreciated.

Also, I see players stack chips on the hole cards sometimes. Is there a meaning behind that?

Its 1/2 6 handed You are 150 bb deep and opponent has you covered. Oppenent is fairly tight, but switches it up alot and is a thinking player. You are fairly aggressive and have c-bet 50% of the time, but you show down the goods.

You raise it to 7 with A10 and get a call from middle position. The blinds fold. The pot is 17. The flop comes 5 5 10. You bet 12 and he raises to 40. What do you do?? IF you call what do you do on the turn?? Bet 1/2 or less the pot as a blocker bet? Check planning to fold? Bet more than 1/2 the pot?

Would any of this change if you had K10 instead?
