What do you think I could get? Is ebay my best bet?

I’m looking to "upgrade" to a 360. ;)

OMG now it appears congress is getting involved in the “Clemens Circus Comes to Congress” with the Barry Bonds side show steroid mess. I mean HUH!, what did he say?

MY QUESTION IS WHY!

I’m only 21 and even to my little high school educated warped mind It appears congress has much to much time on there hands. So the guy used steroids. So what, ban him from the game and anyone else that used them, my god ppls they ban Pet Rose for life for betting, I mean betting and thus from the Hall Of Fame where he belongs, now it would seem steroids are little more serious yes I’ll admit but to the point we need congress involved.
The present commissioner apparently can’t do his job,( another one making good money that hasn’t a clue) or has no balls. It seems he apparently has a friend in congress to save his *** from making an unpopular decision, but then that seems to be the way of the well paid, “it’s no my job man, not me, I didn’t do it” syndrome that they think there entitled to.
Now lets see if I have this right! the poor are getting to be the destitute, the middle class (haha) are getting to be the poor, while the rich are getting richer. The government bought trailers that can’t be lived in. Our troops are getting killed in places we don’t belong, ppls still don’t have homes or jobs in Louisiana. Ppls are loosing there homes because of congress inability to do what were paying them for, the cost of fuel and home heating oil, food costs, and now someone wants to spend 43 BILLON to get yahoo, come on, get real, 43 billon that raises all kinds of questions and think that bothers congress, course not, I mean so what millions of ppls will be affected. BUT it seems it’s ok to get into something that in the end is not even going have ANY difference at all on sports or anything else for that matter when there thru wasting our money, time and not to even mention (god for bid) doing what were paying them for. Nothing will change except Bush will pardon Clemens, well so Reuter’s thinks. I mean what signal does that send to kids. The same one there sending to us, the adults with it seems there “we don’t care” about you, it’s about us and how much of your hard earned money we can waste” on stupid stuff while making total fools of out self’s. Oil company have record profits by charging outlandish prices and “that’s ok”, why? I could guess but best stop where I am except to say I think congress has a clue, but there not giving it up.
Now don’t get it wrong, this is the best country in the world, the best system on earth, so I’m not moving, don’t go telling me to. Am I bitching, well ya I am, but that’s what’s good about AMERICA, I can.
Clinton, McCain, Obama or whoever! Does it really make a difference, I think not unless someone ( hopefully one of them) gets congress back to doing what there suppose to do, wasting our money but with some results that benefit the whole country not just the wealthy and over paid or there over inflated ego’s. Somehow I don’t see that happening, the president has become not much more that a “person in the position” much like the Queen, (Ok I’m being smart ***) but I mean why spend millions trying to get into that “job” why not hire someone with a four year contract and use all the money ( that no one seems to have but the rich) to help ppls that need help, like home heating cost, the elderly, home tax relief ??? I don’t get it, the American way? Seems were getting little lost.
Maybe it’s time some of them just GOT out. I mean at what point does someone ego ( in this case congressmen) not get in the way of common sense. Is someone’s ego that big they feel the have to die in office? God I mean it sure appears were paying them ( and good money) to screw us as much and as often as they can. Oh wait, what’s this you tell me there suppose to? Silly me for thinking other wise.
Yes before you throw all kinds of insults and “what are you nuts” at me, it took me while to do this ( thank god for spell check) and NO I’m not moving to some third world country, I like it here, want to stay, I am staying here and YES before you ask, I do think I could do a better job than most of them ( meaning congress) and for lot less money. ( my ego taking over how)
Am I mad, no,
Am I confused, well ya
How does that saying go “ever vote counts” I hope so!!!!
So again the QUESTION IS WHY????,
Someone needs to explain this one to me..!!! and in simple words, remember I only have a high school education.

Does anyone know how to win betting on sports consistently? I know there are people out there with statistical systems that make alot of money. How do they do it?

Okay…

I am very new to making websites but have the basics down (in html). I am not the most creative kid in the world, but given an idea, I can really work with it and take that idea as far as I want!

My question to you guys is: What could I base my website around? What can I name it? What is something interesting the site can involve?

In order for you guys to help me I’ll let you know my interests…

I recently joined this website (www.centsports.com), and would like to do something similar with my site! It’s a very interactive Sports Betting site, however members dont pay a dime! It lets me express my competitive nature, bet on sports (which obviously i enjoy), and communicate with friends and other members. The system is remarkable, clean, and very creative…

So, any answers? They’d be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

How about the site www.betonjocks.com? Is that or anything any good?

I first heard of Steve Dalkowski a couple years ago from a dad on my baseball team, and the knucklehead who claims he could throw 120 mph reminded me of the story I found a couple years ago about him, so enjoy and tell me what you think

Steve is the guy "Nuke LaLoosh" in the movie Bull Durham was based on. The true story is a little sadder than the movie. It’s an old article, but still interesting.

Minor League Legends: Steve Dalkowski
AUGUST 24, 1999

by JARED HOFFMAN The Sporting News

For the book "Baseball’s 100 Greatest Players", The Sporting News asked several former players and managers to rank their top ten in various categories. Former big-league manager Gene Mauch selected the hardest throwing pitchers he ever saw and the list included some of the usual suspects: Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens and Bob Feller. However, at No. 5 on that list was a name that made probably made many people go, "Huh?": Steve Dalkowski.
Dalkowski gained legendary status with a fastball that many who saw him pitch believe was 110 mph. The only thing that kept Dalkowski from ever reaching the majors was that he couldn’t throw his fastball with any sort of control — in 1960, he set a California League record with 262 walks in 170 innings. He also recorded 262 strikeouts. For his minor league career, Delkowski had 1,396 strikeouts and 1,354 walks in 995 innings.

Those who saw Dalkowski pitch believe he was the hardest thrower in baseball history. In a Newsday article from 1979, several baseball men discussed Dalkowski’s and his blazing fastball.

"He was unbelievable," said former Orioles manager Earl Weaver. "He threw a lot faster than (Nolan) Ryan. It’s hard to believe but he did."

Yankees outfielder Paul Blair faced hard-throwers such as Sandy Koufax and Ryan but still remembers facing Dalkowski in spring training. "He threw the hardest I ever saw. He was also the wildest I ever saw."

Dalkowski’s wildness frightened even the bravest of hitters. Ted Williams faced Dalkowski once in a spring training game and that was enough. "Fastest ever," said Williams. "I never want to face him again."

Here a just a few examples of how Dalkowski gained legendary status:

One night at Kingsport, Dalkowski threw a pitch that tore off part of a batter’s ear. "It made me so scared, I didn’t even want to look at it," said Dalkowski. Many people believe after this incident Dalkowski feared one of errant pitches would kill someone and that only contributed more to his wildness.

Dalkowski won a bet with teammate Herman Starrette, who said Dalkowski couldn’t throw a baseball through a wall. Dalkowski warmed up and then moved 15 feet away from the wooden outfield fence. His first pitch went right through the boards.

In one minor league game, Dalkowski threw three pitches that penetrated the backstop and sent fans scattering.

In a high school game, Dalkowski threw a no-hit, no-run game with 18 strikeouts and 18 walks.

In an Eastern League game, Dalkowski struck out 27 and walked 16 while throwing 283 pitches. In another game, he was pulled in the second inning after throwing 120 pitches.

At Aberdeen in the Northern League, Dalkowski threw a one-hitter and lost 9-8.

In 1960 at Class A Stockton, Dalkowski threw a pitch that broke an umpire’s mask in three places, knocking him 18 feet back and sending him to a hospital for three days with a concussion.

In 1959, Dalkowski set a Northern League record with 21 strikeouts in a game.

In 1960 at Stockton on the California League, Dalkowski struck out 19 and limited Reno to four hits but walked nine and lost 8-3.
The Orioles tried a variety of things to help Dalkowski find the strike zone with little success. However, Earl Weaver, who was managing in the Orioles’ farm system, helped build Dalkowski’s confidence. In one stretch for Elmira in 1962, Weaver said Dalkowski had a 52-inning stretch where he struck out 104, walked only 11 and allowed one earned run.

The following spring, Dalkowski seemed poised to make the Orioles club. However, his career was ended on a throw to first. In an exhibition game against the Yankees, Dalkowski fielded a bunt from pitcher Jim Bouton. Dalkwoski threw to first and as he did, felt something pop in his arm. He missed most of the season and when he returned his fastball had leveled off to 90 mph. He was released by the Orioles organization and was out of organized baseball by 1966.

Dalkowski became a migrant farm worker after retiring. Dalkowski was a heavy drinker during his playing days and his drinking continued to escalate after his baseball career was over. In an article in The Sporting News from June 30, 1979, Cal Ripken Sr. said, "Dalkowski could do some drinking. He just couldn’t stop. He liked to stay out, drink and have some fun. He’d always be borrowing money to but booze and was broke from payday to payday."

The Association of Professional Ballplayers in America, an organization formed in the early 1920s to take care of former baseball people who became ill or indigent, tired to help Dalkowski.

Chuck Stevens, director of the APBA, said, "Dalkowski had a 14-foot medical sheet. They tell me he had a 35 common drunk arrests in every town in America. It’s a very sad story. But, we had him absolutely dry for three months. We put him in an alcoholic rehabilitation center and found him a job. For three months, Steve Dalkowski was a productive citizen."

However a few months later, Dalkowski was drinking again and the APBA stopped its assistance because the money they gave Dalkowski was being used to buy liquor. Dalkowski’s failing health prevented him from working. In the late-1980s, Dalkowski was living in a small apartment in southern California and almost broke. His whereabouts today are unknown.

He is really immature. He wants to screw people over as a boss yet he wants to be your friend. I really don’t speak to him about anything non work related and he seems to be pissed at me. He has attempted to screw me over to the point I had to call HR. Now he doesn’t speak to me at all. I’m a supervisor but he will leave me out of supervisors meetings. I get the feeling that If I don’t allow him to screw me over he doesn’t know how to deal with me. This department has had 5 supervisors in 4 years. Everyone transfers after a year. You have to be at this company a year before you can transfer to another department. What’s funny is he only does it to this one particular department because he was once the super of this department until he moved up to branch manager. He wrestles with my young employees, has street races, bets money on sporting events and sings over the PA system. He attempts to pit my foreman and me against one another. My foreman is young so he is falling for it

I really want to know! 0 a week is a above average pay check for min. wage Americans, before taxes of course. The standard cost of living puts those drawing min. wage below poverty level in our country. But who cares? On 0 a week we’re expected to pay taxes, buy health insurance, car insurance, life insurance, renters insurance, tag and license our vehicles, pay the school system extra to get our high school kids to school and back
on the public school bus, extra for high school sports and band etc., pay our rent, pay our bills, feed our families, and continue to watch the cost of living rise. I’m ranting but hey, I’m mad as hell. I really want to know how much illegals can accomplish on 400 american dollars a week. I’ll almost bet they live better than I do and struggle less. I’m curious what the conversion rate is.

is john morrison’s sports betting champ betting system a scam? or are there any other betting systems that are not scams?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/dailylines

I know how the + /- system works in general, but i’m more used to seeing it with numbers in the 100’s (like -200/+105). Could someone explain a game situation to me for a straight up bet based on this weeks odds?

Does anybody wish that Vegas published weekly polls like the BCS or AP?

Notes:
Vegas can’t afford to be biased they go on pure facts unlike the BCS.

I do realize betting on college sports is highly frowned upon by the NCAA.

Imagine a system were the punishment for being biased was losing your money…. NICE

I know estasy is illegal. However, these parties at Sport Arena or Convention Center such as rave and dome that have whole bunch of ppl taking them and not getting arrested? Police tend to stay outside for traffic but they could have pull any cars over and do the search, I bet everybody will have estasy in their system or their cars.

My home track Canterbury Park has closed for the season and im not to into their simulcast facility plus Canterbury park is about a hour away. So to make a trip up their every day for a few races doesnt pan out cost wise, especially since im not a big player.
Anyways i have been looking into a couple of forms of wagering from home like TVG’s interactive wagering system that DISH Network has. Also i saw a ad in the DRF i believe it was, for a New York OTB I think literally called NewyorkOTB or something. On the site it states that they are in the US and US Regulated. Which sounds good but i didnt know that was possible. But then again i may be thinking about Sports betting and how that for sure isnt legal in the US (Except vegas i think).
Which brings me to the third option i have been looking into, which is off shore betting services like Bet Jamaica or Legends Sportsbook. Ive looked into these to, but the fact that they are offshore and that they send Cashiers checks to them and from them to you via Fedex makes me a little wary of this idea.
If any of you have any experience with any of these or know of reasons to use them or not i would really appreciate the info, thanks!

All I play is baseball (MLB the show), Madden, etc Which system is better for those type games? I may venture out once in a while to adventure type games but rarely! Whats my best bet?? Please help.

Is there maybe some program that can calculate minimal winnings when i put in the ods or something.
