Online casinos offer free stuff for new players, right? I mean, how could I like, trust them, if I can’t try them out first?

Shouldn’t an adult be allowed to gamble if he wants to? Why ban such a thing? I’m a Libertarian and I can’t understand why folks support more laws such as this. It’s sick. What do you think about this issue?

I have been trying to see if internet gambling is legal in Florida? I try to read the laws, but I am not getting it. Does anybody have the answer to this.

PS I think think the US should legalize internet gambling and REGULATE and TAX it, letting US companies participate (vs. sending the business offshore)

I think it’s because they can’t find a way to tax it. Personally I have switched political parties over the whole mess. Don’t you think it was quite ridiculous to include legislation with the Safe Port Act? Under-handed and dirty!! Shame

1-Is internet gambling illegal? I heard from some it was and from others that it wasn’t.

2-Is it illegal but not enforced? For instance can you deposit 100$ to gamble and not be bothered?

The act is intended to end internet gambling (with select activities arbitrarily excluded). Should the government be allowed to prohibit online gambling with this bill? Is it too overbroad and/or subjectively narrow? Is regulation a better answer than prohibition?

What are the odds that this new bill will pass congress by 2009? What about by 2011?
